This is a fan art of “Divergent”, the book/movie. The setting is in post-war Chicago. The ancestors determined that it was the fault of human personality that caused the war. Those who blamed aggression formed Amity, those who blamed ignorance formed Erudite, those who blamed duplicity formed Candor, those who blamed selfishness made Abnegation and those who blamed cowardice were the Dauntless.

I’ve always found the idea of death comforting. The thought that my life could end at any moment frees me to fully appreciate the beauty and art and horror of everything this world has to offer. I channel my power, strength and supremacy with the horns that I hold up high. Behind the mask that people call a face, illusions galore. Look into my eyes, as the eye looks beyond this world and into the next and sees the reflection of man himself.

”You must give up the life you planned in order to have the life that is waiting for you” – Joseph Cambell.

She wants to hide into the forest to seek tranquility but she couldn’t because she knows she has her responsibilities and burdens. And now, she has the forest in her mind.

Description of Artwork:

Doubt and melancholy engulfed me as soon as I began, and so I had to stop before I became even more dysphonic than I already was.

But like whatever man, it isn’t as though it was never possible for me to care any lesser than I do now.

Description of Artwork:

At first glance, this is a simple watercolour of a girl lying in the grass. But in today’s world, no girl would sit so serenely amidst nature, so that tells us that she is waiting for something, or someone. I love drawing people who are longing, or waiting for something, but it is also terribly sad, as maybe what she is waiting for will never come.

Description of Artwork:

This is a half painted artwork. First, I drew it using poster, then I used an iPad app to edit it further. And for the first time, I like my signature. A tree, a moon and some patch of grass. It's about the feels....

Description of Artwork:

Yesterday, I had joined the Biology trip to Elephant Sanctuary which was held by the SAM CCA. I saw a scene which was the two elephants twisting their trunks together, so lovely and warm. One boy one girl not only could represent couple love, it can be sibling love or even bestie love.

Description of Artwork:

My artwork depicts mankind misusing the natural resources from mother earth. The earth is being killed slowly by the development and inventions of mankind. This drawing is to raise awareness and to save the earth from being destroyed.

Code 15:

Description of Artwork:

My tribute to Greek Mythology, in particular the Goddess Artemis. She is a virgin goddess, therefore I feel that she personifies purity. She is also the goddess of the moon and the hunt. I have chosen to depict her as a young woman accompanied by her sacred animal, the stag.

The Butterfly:
The light of my life;
The closest thing that touches my heart;
The symbol of my soulmate who is now far far away from me;
who, like a spark, ignites my dark cold heart, bringing me warmth and light to carry on

Description of Artwork:

Man’s best friend. Watching, protecting and saving some while only wanting to please and be loved back. They are strong. My artwork shows their strength within which is calm, kind and beautiful. I drew my own visualization of my own pet dog which has already ‘passed on’ but still stays with me in my heart.

Description of Artwork:

Mental disease, as well as the sufferers, have always intrigued me. I’ve always wanted to know what goes through the head of a Schizophrenia sufferer. What I’ve portrayed in this charcoal sketch is how WE see a Schizophrenia Sufferer. We do not see the demons inside their visions, but all we see is the violent, alarming changes of mood, and the way they are terrified of things we cannot see.

Description of Artwork:

One day, a wolf snuck into a group of friendly rabbits. As they slept, the wolf appeared in it’s natural form. Each day, the wolf killed and ate the rabbits. The rabbits, not knowing which was the wolf, arranged a meeting to decide who was the wolf and killed it. If they choose correctly, the rabbits win. If not, all of them would be killed and eaten. This is a story of trust and deceit.
Fan art of the manga ”Rabbit Doubt”.

Everyone hides behind a mask. It takes a lot to truly be yourself. My painting is about reaching out to those who feel this way. Be brave and put your mask aside. Be true to who you are. Sometimes you have to care less about what others think and do what's right for yourself. But in the process, don't leave your traditions/ roots/ upbringing because it is part of what makes you, you.
