Korean Students Visit to TCSH
On the 30th of December 2009, Taylor’s College Sri Hartamas hosted a visit consisting of 45 Korean students studying in various international schools around Malaysia. The total number of visitors was approximately 70 visitors inclusive of parents, teachers and students.
The visit was held to introduce the new and ultramodern Taylor’s campus at Sri Hartamas and to provide the students a chance to explore their pre-university options. All of the Korean students are currently doing their O-Levels course at their respective international schools.
The visitors were given campus tours by our counselors, Mr. Wong Jie Han and Ms. Shiamala, accompanied by two of TCSH’s Korean student ambassadors, Cho Hyun Joo and Jeon Ji Su. Both the ambassadors played a vital role as translators for our counselors and staff. One of the highlights was when Ji Su impressed the crowd through a speech on his Cambridge A Level study experience at Taylor’s College Sri Hartamas.
Shortly after, Mr. Rahul, the manager of student experience at Taylor’s College Sri Hartamas, gave a speech on TCSH in which he highlighted the state of the art facilities and advantages of studying at this new campus as well as the various extra curricular activities opportunities.
The students and parents were then given an opportunity to have a session with some of our experienced counselors for a more private and personal enquiry on their options after O-Levels.
All in all, this visit met its objective, which is to provide the prospective students with comprehensive information and an option to pursue quality pre-university education as a step towards entering prestigious universities around the world.
