CAL Awards Ceremony 2014

Celebrating a New Pinnacle of Excellence

On the 22nd of February 2014, Taylor’s College held their Cambridge A-Level (CAL) Awards Ceremony to pay tribute to the efforts and achievements of the class of November 2013. This year, Taylor’s College celebrated a milestone of beating its all-time record of the highest number of students to secure at least 3 A’s in the CIE Advanced Level examinations; a phenomenal 60.1%  of the 614 candidates scored at least 3 straight A’s. To top it off, the class of November 2013 scored a grand total of 1,543 A’s. An amazing streak indeed!

In his message, Taylor’s College’s President Mr. Lim Tou Boon encouraged graduates to continue develop their leadership skills and sharpen their life skills as well as their learning skills. “These are three personal development areas that will empower you to take your place as a productive leader in the global community and to live a purpose-driven life.”

The CAL Award ceremony also marked the presentation of the prestigious President’s award. The award represents more than just academic excellence as recipients embody the eight Taylor’s Graduate Capabilities (TGC) qualities and demonstrated outstanding traits beyond the classroom. One of the recipients was TCSH’s very own Nareen Kaur Sidhu A/P Baktor Sing. A big congratulations to her!
