Cold (Poem)
My first day of school,
I felt like a fool,
Who knew that it was this cool,
Tomorrow I shall wear some wool.
Why is it so hard to swallow?
And why do I feel so mellow?
I wished someone would say hello,
So that I won’t feel this hollow.
Maybe I should run a mile,
Or really try to smile,
Why does everyone look so vile?
Am I really that hostile?
Oh no, here comes a hand shake,
I fear my numb fingers may break,
Why is this place so sick,
They should really turn it up for our sake.
