Nescafe Road Show
On the 26th of March, many coffee addicts were delighted by the arrival of the Nescafe Road Show at Taylor's College Sri Hartamas. The reason for this was to promote their recent Nescafe Inter-Uni Challenge, which was held from March 15 till March 29. This challenge provides people with the opportunity to win RM 20 000 through the simple act of buying a can of Nescafe coffee.
How does this work, you may ask? Basically, once you purchase two cans of Nescafe coffee, you are entitled to receive a Nescafe Challenge form. Just fill in the form, and you might be chosen to win RM 20 000! Rather simple, isn't it?
At 11 a.m., the Nescafe representatives had set up a stand in front of the ECA office upon their arrival. Their promoters also took the opportunity to roam around college to promote their event to TCSH students. Their promoters also came bearing various flavours of Nescafe coffees at a reduced, promotional price, which definitely encouraged many Taylor's College students to join the challenge.
What really caught our eyes was definitely the huge plasma television they had set up in front of the ECA Lounge. All students were given a chance to play the “Need For Speed” PS2 game in a bid to prove that Nescafe really does keep you awake and alert. Students with the fastest time recorded to complete one lap at an inter-college level were given a chance to win a laptop. Many students were trying their luck at the video game throughout the day.
At around 1.30 p.m., the Nescafe representatives started packing up their equipment to go to their next destination of the road show. We, at Taylor's College Sri Hartamas certainly look forward to any future visits from the Nescafe team.
